Muna is a luxury scented candle brand with a focus on women's empowerment particularly black women who we are encouraging to embrace self-care & "soft-life" despite society's expectations of us to be "Strong Women".

We believe in using our brand as a platform to support and uplift women. We are dedicated to promoting women's empowerment and celebrating the strength and beauty of women through our products and messaging.

Muna is a name that exists across several African languages. In Igbo it means: “Me and..” and In Swahili, it means wish or desire, the things we hope for, quietly, in the moments when no one is watching.

Our logo is an African map. Not a decoration, a declaration. A reminder that the richness, warmth, and depth of African culture belongs in every room, on every shelf, in every ritual that is yours.

We reject the idea that rest must be earned. Black women, in particular, deserve to exist beyond the narrative of endurance. Muna is a space where softness is not a reward, it is the starting point.

African culture, craft, and beauty have always been luxurious. We are not bringing luxury to Africa we are reminding the world that it was already there.

The candle is what you buy. What you belong to is something bigger. Muna is a community of women who choose themselves every day, one lit wick at a time.

Luxurious handmade and ecofriendly candles

We are committed to creating eco-friendly and sustainable products that not only delight the senses, but also have a positive impact on the environment.

All of our candles are hand-made with all natural coconut wax, which burns cleanly and evenly, and are packaged in beautiful glass jars that could be recycled or repurposed.
